On Thursday 21 February, Screen Scotland will host an open session at CCA Glasgow as part of Glasgow Film Festival, led by Executive Director, Isabel Davis, inviting filmmakers to hear more about the support and services that Screen Scotland offers, as well as insight into new and ongoing practices in the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion.
Screen Scotland is the new dedicated partnership for screen in Scotland, delivering enhanced support for all aspects of Scotland's screen sector. An increase in specialist staff and resources means that Screen Scotland offers more advice, engagement and development opportunities in all areas of production, exhibition, distribution, skills and training.
Networking, one-to-ones and Application Workshop
The Open Session will begin with a networking reception in Saramago Café Bar, followed by the session Q&A. Attendees will then have the opportunity to sign up for one-to-ones with Screen Scotland Screen Officers to discuss specific projects.
We will also be hosting an Application Workshop that will explain best approach with Screen Scotland applications and answer common questions we receive (please note that we are not able to look at draft applications).
3-4pm - Screen Scotland briefing with Q&A, Club Room
4-6pm - One-to-ones with Screen Officers, Saramago Café Bar
