Intensive introduction to working in TV with The Network

The Network is a free intensive introduction to working in TV Get one of the 60 places on The Network and you’ll spend four days learning practical skills from top programme-makers; meeting new contacts and getting career advice from top TV executives. Networkers are also paired with a mentor, as well as gaining access to exclusive opportunities after completing the scheme.

The Network takes place every August alongside the Edinburgh TV Festival. This training runs from 20 – 23 August 2019. The 60 delegates get four days of masterclasses, workshops and practical TV-making experience led by industry professionals, as well as a year of mentoring and access to exclusive paid jobs.

The scheme is completely free and is open to anyone over 18 who will have finished full-time education by September 2019. You don’t need any qualifications or work experience in TV, but you do need a genuine passion for TV and an ambition to work in the industry.
