In response to the Making a Scotland a Screen Leader (2018) report by the Scottish Parliament Culture, Tourism and External Relations Committee, Screen Scotland made a commitment in its Business Plan 19/20 to research and scope a screen data hub. Our next step towards the development of this project is to investigate the most useful way of presenting available data for dissemination with input from stakeholders and screen sector professionals.
Join us at one of our two workshops on the development of a new screen sector Data Hub for Scotland, and help us frame what you would like to see included.
We want to know - what data would be useful? What are your priorities?
Screen Scotland would like to invite you to contribute to the development of a Data Hub for the screen industries in Scotland. You will hear from the Creative Scotland Knowledge and Research Team and University of Edinburgh colleagues who will explain more about where the idea for a Data Hub came from, and how we are working together to research and scope what this could be, and what it could look like.
In this consultation workshop, we will ask you to share your needs and ideas that will help shape and inform our understanding of the function, use and priorities for a Screen Data Hub. Your participation is key in helping us establish what could be achievable and productive for the Scottish screen sector.
