Today, Screen Scotland has announced the appointment of two new roles to support Scotland’s film and TV sector.
Sambrooke Scott, former Manager of Film Hub Scotland, has been appointed as Head of Audience Development.
This new role will lead the future growth and diversification of audiences for Scotland’s film and TV output, including developing Screen Scotland’s strategy for festivals, distribution and exhibition.

I'll be working with my colleagues and our partners across Scotland and the UK to support the sector through this worrying time and, once it passes, to thrive again."
Louise Acheson, who was previously Screen Officer at Screen Scotland has been appointed as Head of Business and Market Development. This new role will be responsible for building capacity, sustainability and growth of Scotland’s film and TV sector, working with industry and enterprise agency partners, and providing tailored business support to Scotland’s film and TV production companies.

The creative output of film and TV companies in Scotland is of renowned high quality, and I will be working collaboratively with the Screen Scotland team and our partners, to support business resilience and help Scotland’s Film and TV sector grow."

Isabel Davis, Executive Director at Screen Scotland said: “These are two fantastic new hires for Scotland. They each bring new thinking, expertise and energy to these two critical areas of our strategy and will accelerate our resilience and growth programme for the sector.”
Alongside these roles, Screen Scotland has recently advertised three further vacancies Head of Scripted, Head of Unscripted and Head of Production to provide a more specialised approach to development and production in Scotland.
