Business Development Officer
Are you passionate about supporting Scotland’s vibrant screen sector? Screen Scotland is looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive growth and innovation within Scotland’s screen industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Head of Business & Market Development to shape and enhance the development of Scotland’s screen sector companies

Evaluate and recommend funding applications and targeted projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals

Implement strategic initiatives to boost the sector’s growth, supporting access to specialised commercial expertise

Identify and develop tailored support mechanisms and sector organisations to meet industry needs

Oversee and engage with companies in receipt of Screen Scotland’s slate development funding, coordinating and leading support activities and projects

Cultivate ongoing strong relationships with screen businesses and sector stakeholders, creating opportunities for collaboration and market engagement, and overseeing an up-to-date contacts database

Salary: £17,484 (£33,997 Full-Time Equivalent)
Grade: C
Contract: Part Time/Permanent
Hours: 18 hours per week (2.5 days per week)
Location: Further opportunities to discuss working arrangements, for example hybrid/home working will be offered. The role will be based in our Edinburgh office.
