Screen Scotland – Digital Communications Officer
Permanent Full-time (36 hours per week).
We are looking for a Digital Communications Officer to support the promotion of the work of Screen Scotland - joining an energetic and dedicated team who are focussed on supporting the screen sector in Scotland.
You will help to deliver, develop and continuously improve digital content for Screen Scotland, helping to raise the profile of its work, and of Scotland’s film and TV sector at home and abroad.
You will develop engaging and informative content for the website, social media channels and newsletter, including feature writing, video creation and extensive social media curation. You will also actively monitor our channels for comments, providing timely and informative responses.
You will be fundamental in supporting wider communications work – ensuring all key news, developments and announcements are communicated effectively online, and all content is accurate, up to date and compliant.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a digital communications environment, experience of web content management systems, relevant design software and social media platforms, as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills and attention to detail.
Project management skills and an ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment are essential, as are strong interpersonal skills and team working, the ability to develop and establish partnerships with a range of stakeholders and a commitment to our core values.
An understanding of the screen sector would be advantageous.
