GMAC Film announces new filmmaking opportunity Little Pictures

GMAC Film is delighted to launch new short filmmaking opportunity Little Pictures. Little Pictures is a micro budget short film project funded by Screen Scotland and run by GMAC Film.

Paddy Higson CEO of GMAC Film says: “We are very excited to be commissioning short films again at GMAC Film, particularly because it will be the first step for many people who have previously been precluded from making their first film because of cost, or lack of access to facilities and training.  We are delighted that Screen Scotland has had the foresight to enable this to happen, and it should be a huge step forward in addressing the issue of equality and diversity of the screen sector in Scotland.”

Jennifer Armitage from Screen Scotland said: “Little Pictures is a fantastic opportunity for diverse teams from across Scotland to make their first film. We recognise that there are many challenges and barriers to entering the screen industry, and Little Pictures will help to address these issues. Screen Scotland is excited to be working with the excellent team at GMAC to develop brand new filmmaking talent in Scotland.”
