Call for Expressions of Interest for projects to participate at The Gotham Week Project Market

Please note, applications are now closed for this opportunity.

Screen Scotland, working in collaboration with The Gotham as a presenting partner* of The Gotham Week Project Market, is offering four projects the opportunity to participate at the 2023 edition of the market. Gotham Week will be held in New York from September 16-22, with the Project Market running from September 18-22.

About The Gotham Week Project Market

The Gotham Week Project Market is a vital North American meetings-driven forum that will take place in New York from 18-22 September. The market aims to connect new fiction and documentary projects in development, production, or post-production to key industry executives interested in identifying feature-length and episodic projects for development, financing, or distribution.

Screen Scotland will put forward a shortlist of projects including fiction and nonfiction features and narrative series to be considered for participation at The Gotham Project Week Market. Projects that are successfully shortlisted by Screen Scotland will then be invited to make a direct application to The Gotham to participate at the Project Market. Submissions will be assessed by the team at The Gotham, and they will be responsible for making the final selection for participation.

Screen Scotland will offer successful project teams bursary support for travel and accommodation to attend the market. Successful projects will be provided with a curated schedule of meetings during the Project Market.

* Please note: All International (non-US originated) projects must be submitted through one of The Gotham’s Presenting Partners. All submissions from Scottish producing teams are by invitation only and must have been confirmed by Screen Scotland prior to submission or by direct invitation of The Gotham.
