This will provide an incredible opportunity for both cohorts to gain experience, build essential skills, and respectively begin a new career path or continue taking the next steps in the industry. We look forward to supporting this new group of trainees and juniors as they take their next steps.”

Steven Little, Head of Production at Screen Scotland said: “The film and TV sector is growing and evolving in Scotland. Our training partners, such as TRC, are constantly reacting to industry trends to ensure our training programmes reflect the needs of the local industry to help them compete on the global stage.  Reset will still provide a route in for new talent, but it will also develop and retain the crew we have. The continued support of Scottish Government and BFI Skills Cluster funding is building a solid foundation as the industry demands more skills in digital production and post production.”

Sara Whybrew, BFI’s Director of Skills and Workforce Development said: "It’s fantastic to see the return of the Reset programme for those looking to progress into the digital content production (DCP) sectors. Given the BFI’s recent DCP skills scoping study findings, this intervention couldn’t be timelier. We look forward to seeing a new and diverse cohort of local Scottish talent make an important career step via this vital industry led and work-based training offer.”
