Synopsis
In this series Susan Calman pulls back the curtain on some of Scotland’s most wonderful spots. She discovers the untold tales and secret stories behind a host of Scotland’s treasures, from Loch Ness to Balmoral, as well as seeking out the lesser known delights that her homeland has to offer - whether that is seeing Britain’s largest bird of prey in flight on the Isle of Mull or hearing the world’s longest echo in a secret part of the Highlands.
Susan brings her endless enthusiasm and sense of fun to all her finds, as she throws herself into each new experience. She has a go at everything from sword dancing to Britain’s first closed road rally race and even surfing off the northern tip of the country.
It’s a glorious celebration of all there is to love in Scotland’s world-famous castles, crags and cathedrals, as well as a chance to meet the dedicated people who bring the nation’s places and pastimes to life.
