We are moving

From 20 October, Creative Scotland (including Screen Scotland) will be located at Waverley Court, East Market Street, Edinburgh, joining the City of Edinburgh Council (CEC), VisitScotland, SEPA and Skills Development Scotland, as well as some other organisations, as part of a 'Partnership Hub’.

Waverley Court will become Creative Scotland’s registered address from 20 October 2025, as follows:

Creative Scotland/Screen Scotland

Waverley Court

4 East Market Street

Edinburgh

EH8 8BG

Creative Scotland will retain our staff presence in Glasgow, in office space shared with Registers of Scotland at St Vincent’s Plaza.

Speaking of the move, Iain Munro, Creative Scotland’s Chief Executive said: “We are very pleased to be moving to a space in Waverley Court alongside City of Edinburgh Council and some of our other partners from across Scotland’s public sector. The building offers excellent, cost effective, space and facilities for our staff and is extremely accessible for meetings, particularly by public transport.

With our staff continuing to work flexibly from the office, from home and with Scotland’s creative sector around the country, our requirement for office space has evolved, meaning the time is right to move from Waverley Gate after 15 years and the end of our lease there.

We look forward to welcoming stakeholders to Waverley Court from the end of October.”

Background

This move was previously communicated by CEC in April 2025: Council continues to grow Waverley Court Partnership Hub – The City of Edinburgh Council.
