The Forge Entertainment Training Scheme, presented in collaboration with Screen Scotland, is designed for individuals looking to begin a career in Scripted Drama.
Throughout this opportunity, you'll immerse yourself in on-the-job training, learning alongside your supervisor and team members. Additionally, you'll have access to external training courses tailored to the industry and your specific department.
Applications are encouraged from individuals traditionally underrepresented in the industry or those who have encountered barriers to entry. This paid traineeship will be based in the central belt of Scotland.
Applicants must be based in Scotland. A limited amount of funding will be available to contribute towards living costs for a small number of roles where applicants are not based in the central belt, such as those applying from the Highlands and Islands.
Employment dates run from February to August 2026. Successful applicants will initially be contracted for one block, with the potential to progress onto subsequent blocks, subject to performance and departmental needs.
