Screen Scotland Funding: Vigil received support from Screen Scotland’s Production Growth Fund which helps to create employment opportunities for Scottish crews, encourages the use of production facilities and provides significant opportunities for the professional development of producers based in Scotland.

Training: Supported by the Make a Move initiative, a production co-ordinator was trained and mentored to step up in the role of Production Manager. Trainees positions included floor runner, camera, grip, costume, and make-up.

Vigil is the first drama commission from World Productions’ (Line of Duty, Bodyguard, The Pembrokeshire Murders, Save Me) new Glasgow base. The six-part series is set and was filmed in Scotland in 2020.
