Screen Education Fund
The Screen Education Fund supports projects that help make screen education more accessible, inclusive and sustainable. Applications should align with the fund's key priorities:

Support the development and growth of film and screen education across Scotland.

Support the continued professional development educators to deliver film and screen education.

Support the long-term sustainability of film and screen education by through projects which will strengthen its provision across Scotland.

Promote the value and benefit of film and screen education.
The fund is designed for innovative projects that will strengthen and grow film and screen education in communities, and other non-traditional settings.

Who can apply?
This fund is open to individuals, organisations and other constituted groups based in Scotland whose proposed activities meet the eligibility criteria.
Applications should be submitted by one organisation, with letters of commitment from any named partners.
If you are a school seeking funding to deliver projects that provide new or develop existing screen education opportunities, please instead consider applying to our Schools Screen Education Fund.
How much can I apply for?
The minimum lower limit for applications is £1,000 per project. The maximum upper limit is £25,000 per project. The maximum length of time for a funded project to run is 12 months.
What can I apply for?
Funding can be used to support a range of costs in planning and delivering your project, such as:

Programme planning and scheduling

Programme delivery, including staffing costs

Safeguarding costs related to your project

Specialist screen education practitioners

Training and professional development
-
Delivery venue costs
-
