In 2022, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council) developed and delivered a new broadcast skills Training Programme at Studio Alba, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
The Stornoway Studio Training Programme seeks to develop new talent and grow the depth and expertise of talent working in the Film and TV industry across the Outer Hebrides.
The regeneration of the Stornoway Studio is an exciting proposition as at the heart of this activity is an ambitious training programme that will leave a legacy to the local community and the wider Screen Industry.
Currently, the programme hosts 6 trainees.
